Almost There...

The Lakers headed back home for Game 5 and came out victorious. The beat the Nuggets behind an actual team effort. The same could not be said for the Nuggets who had a lead in the 3rd quarter but after that they were no where to be found. Carmelo shot terribly tonight [9-23, and 1-4 from 3 point range] but he still scored a game high 31 points. Billups, Smith, and NeNe combined just to score 23 points. That will definatily not cut it in order to be the Lakers. Notice so far I have said nothing about Kobe and it was done on purpose. Tonight's win [103-94] was a team effort for the Lakers. The rest of the team actually played ball instead of watching it been played. Lamar Odom [who I thought was the key for LA] came off the bench big for LA, had 19 points and 14 rebounds. They actually had a post presence tonight unlike the past game whole series. What happened to Kobe? Oh he was a decoy the whole night but whatever he wants to call it, it worked. He only had 22 points [6 of 12 shooting] but he had 8 assists. Now the Lakers are in a position to close it out Friday in Denver.
