Changes for the Titans

Titans were also an underachieving team, one that will undergo plenty of changes heading into 2010. Eleven players are scheduled to become unrestricted free agents. LenDale White, expected to a restricted free agent, will not be offered a long-term deal by the Titans. White could be used as trade bait, but the Titans wouldn't get much in return for their former goal-line back. Chances are White will return as the backup, with Javon Ringer also mixed in. I don't know anybody that would want to trade for him though. I mean he was just a goal-line back. "It is definitely going to be a different team next year," running back LenDale White said. "Hopefully the organization or whoever is out there making the calls makes the right calls and brings back the people who will help this organization.'' I am glad he knows that he might not be coming back.

Smash and Dash have had a divorce

Chris Johnson said Tuesday he is leaving LenDale White to find his own nickname. Johnson, in fact, has already found a new nickname “Every Coach’s Dream.’’ White might be leaning toward calling himself “Every Opposing Coach’s Nightmare’’. Well at least that was his first reaction when told about Johnson’s name. Also, Johnson earlier said his goal this year is to lead the league in rushing and win NFL Most Valuable Player. He is really making big plans.

Oh yeah and if you have any suggestions for Johnson's celebration twit them to him. Johnson asked fans following his Twitter account for touchdown dance ideas since he plans on being in the end zone more than the 10 times he was there last season. Well sounds like Chad "OchoCinco" has some competition.

Losing the Weight

LenDale White, who reported for off-season work at 234 pounds, said he hasn’t been this low since his first season with the club. He was at 230 his rookie season but the past seasons he has played between 240-260. He shed the weight because this a big year for him considering that this is the last year of his contract. He said his motiviation was players that he know that play for Pittsburgh and the Giants that flash their Super Bowl rings to him. I am sure he is talking about Steve Smith and Polamalu.
