Why?
Try Again?
Roy Williams will be in black and orange this upcoming season as he signed a contract with Cincy Bengals. He gets to be with his old coordinator that was with him when he was one of the feared safeties in the league. Lately his covering skills has gone south which has hurt his stock. I believe in Cincy, he will be mainly used to help the run defense.

Road to Redemption [No not TI]
Michael Vick is to be released to his home on May 20. His sentence term is over on July 20. While he is home, he will be working for a construction company to have an income. Roger Goodell would make his call when and if Vick will be reinstated.
Summer of Favre? Again
Well here we go again folks. This guy will never retire and will play football until his body has begun to deteriorate. Reports has it that Bret Favre wants to still play football and is more than 50-50 on returning to the game of football. He has a meeting schedule with Childress sometime this week to discuss possibilities of joining the team. But yseterday, Trent Difler said he texted Favre and asked him was he coming back and he said No. I am guessing that his choice is probably anyone's guesses. If he does though, he would have to have surgery on his biceps that he tore. Personally, I wish the man would've left his legacy alone a while back for the Packers, but I guess it is hard to come down from that high horse once you been up there for so long [Michael Jordan-Wizards]. The urge is always going to be there because he is a competitor but you gotta walk away with some respect.
Note: Favre turns 40 in October.
End of the Road?
If this true then the NFL will be missing one of the best receivers in the game. In my opinion, he should be in the Hall of Fame. I remember when him and Peyton connected on many touchdowns every year. I know Peyton will miss him but at least they have Reggie Wayne. Here is some highlights of Marvin's last season.
Round 2
In game two of the series between Crosby [Penguins] vs Ovechkin [Capitals], the Capitals came away with the win. They won 4-3 behind Ovechkin's hat trick. Although not to be out done, Crosby had a hat trick of his own. This I would considered one of the best hockey matches that I have seen [I only seen 2 prior to tonight's]. Ovechkin would get the best of Crosby in this game as the third period he would score not once but twice in a span of three minutes to make the score 4-2.
With this win, it gives the Caps a 2-0 heading to Pitts on Wednesday. So far the match-up has been as advertised but if Crosby Penguins cannot find a way to win, it will be over in 4 or 5. They might want to start with stopping Alex from scoring so easily. Also, they might should rely on some one else to score besides Sidney to take some of the pressure off. I do expect a different outcome in Game 3 though for the goalie.
Note: The duo has combined for eight of the series' 12 goals; top three lines [Penguins] have combined to average 23.3 shots per game.
Does one rotten apple spoil the bunch?
Graham Harrell's stint at Cleveland has been short lived. He has fallen prey to the "system" QB title that all the QBs from Texas Tech get. Supposedly, Harrell looked good and he impressed the staff. He did not get a contract offer but he still may get it down the road. Mangini said that they just already had 4 QBs on the roster already but Harrell should stay positive. Now was he cut because of that or was it beacuse of Leach's comments? I'm sure it's not the latter but still funny to think that it was.
Dallas Cowboys facility collapses
I haven't brought this story here because when I first heard about it, all the injuries were just minor. There had only been 12 people that were hurt out of the 70. Now more details have come out and two of Dallas staff had major injuries. One scouting assistant has been paralyzed from the waist down. He had surgery Sunday to stabilize a fracture to the thoracic spine. The other coach that was hurt was a special teams coach. He sustained a fracture of one of his cervical vertebrae without paralysis. He had surgery Monday to repair|fix the fracture. Also, an athletic trainer fracture to the tibia and fibula in his right leg. He had surgery Saturday night and has not been released yet.
We wish the best for all 12 of the people that were injured but especially say a prayer for the three that were mentioned above. If your still lost after reading this, here's the vid that a camera man shoot. [Thanks to Josh for the vid]

MVP! MVP! MVP!
Is unofficial as of right now, but sources say that Lebron James will be named league's MVP later this afternoon. He beats out Kobe Bryant [season wasn't to spectacular] and D-Wade [who I thought could have Co-MVP]. This comes at no surprise to fans but this is definitely surreal. He [& the Cavs] have earn this after this season . Having the best record in the NBA [66-16], one home game shy of tying the home NBA record[39-2]. But Lebron's season has been amazing! He has too many top plays to choose from [vid below to name a few]. His stats include: 28.4 PPG, 7.2 RPG, & 7.6 APG. He was also second in being name the Defensive POY [Dwight Howard]. Wish I could go to Ohio to see 'Bron get his award. Let's go Cavs! Get 'Bron another MVP in the Finals.

Back and Full Force
LaDainian Tomlinson was at all three days of the Charger's mini camp. This is after both sides went through negotiations and LT's season was not so good because of injuries. Coach Turner said he is looking good and Tomlinson said he feels good to be back and healthy. Tomlinson will be looking to turn around his lowest output in his career [1,110 wow]. Be on the watch for LT to have a break out season, especially since people are doubting him about his age. Rumors has it that Turner wants LT to get those 320 carries. So I am really rooting for my favorite back to have a outstanding season. And who knows, it may be his year. Lets keep our fingers crossed for a injury free season.
