There is a worry now in Houston as Yao Ming could miss all of the season with a broken left foot that has become a problem as of late. The Rockets have privately told league peers it could be a full season before Yao might be able to return to basketball. Yao will definitely be missing most of next season, if not the entire 82 games. The thing that scares the Rockets the most is that he could be done with basketball. The injury maybe and could be career-threatening. So if was the Rockets I would be looking for an insurance player.General Manager Daryl Morey said last week Yao's uncertain status wouldn't affect any of his plans for trades or free-agent signings. I feel that would be a big mistake for them.
