Pray for Nate


N.C. State linebacker Nate Irving was in a car crash early Sunday morning. Irving has a broken leg and collapsed lung and was taken to Wake Med. He was cited with careless and reckless driving, after a one-vehicle crash at 4:40 a.m. near the 314-mile marker on Interstate 40. The report indicates that being tired or sleepy may have contributed to the crash, which occurred in Johnston County. His vehicle struck two trees and came to rest in a ditch. Irving was returning to N.C. State's campus from his home in Wallace, N.C. Irving is expected to recover from his injuries quickly. Irving's status for the upcoming football season was not immediately clear.
