Every year, it seems, Jarrett talks about how he finally gets it, and this is the year he feels comfortable enough to contribute to the offense. Well, the way things are tracking now, he's not going to get a chance, because he's probably not going to be active for any games. Kenny Moore has effectively supplanted him as the third receiver, and looks like a guy who can make the few plays leftover after Delhomme throws to Steve Smith and Muhsin Muhammad. Jarrett did make a nice play late to gain a first down, but hasn't made nearly enough of them. The fact he's a nonfactor on special teams makes him a game-day liability when they have to pick the active 45. That means we might be in for another year of Jarrett doing not much, then promising more in the future.
