What can you say? Lebron James played his heart out last night leading the Cavs with 49 points. Even with that they feel short as they lost Game 1 to the Magic 107-106. When your star player is doing everything he can to help you stay in the game, that should light a fire under you to play hard. Hopefully the rest of the team saw how Lebron was playing with cramps during the 4th quarter and was still diving on the floor. You cannot say enough about Lebron. I am sure those Kobe fans are saying something but MJ did not win the championship by himself. Role players stepped up for him and that will have to be the same way with Lebron. Although, Lebron should not have missed those FTs, but shooting 20-30 you can only ask for too much. Still say Cavs in 5.
Tonight we will see how the Nuggets respond in Game 2 after their heart-crushing lost in Game 1. I look for Carmelo to steal the show again but this time come away with the win. I do not think that they will come out any flatter than they did in game 1 but I see other players like JR Smith, stepping it up. The key in the lost was the missed FTs. Lets see if they take care of that probably.
