Match Up Problems Get the Best of the Cavs

Lebron and the Cavs fall down 1-2 in the best of this 7 game series. Lebron yet again had a 41 point game but the rest of the role players did not step up to give him the assistance that he needed. It is a wonder that Lebron had 41, when he shot 11-28 from the field but he went to the line 24 times. That is what kept the Cavs from being blown out worse. Again, if the Cavs plan on winning they need to find some points off the bench. Tonight the bench only contributed 8 points. Lebron cannot and will not advance his team past this round if he does not get help and somebody else puts points on the board. At times it looks as if the other 4 players for the Cavs are doing the same thing I am doing at home, which is watching Lebron do it all.

The Magic did not get a lot of production from their stars [thus the reason why the game was a lot closer] but they showed up when it matter. Dwight Howard scored only 24 points but 14 big points from the free throw line. What helped the Magic was they were leading for most of the game unlike the past two, where they had to fight back by 20+. Hedo Turkoglu did not have a particularly great shooting night but like Howard he did his damage at the line [Hedo had 13 points, 10 boards, 7 assists].

Game 4 will be played in Orlando and we shall see how the Cavs respond to tonight's lost.

[Note: Cavs shot 37%, 15 turnovers, and had 3 players to foul out.]
