Deal is a No Go
ESPN's Ric Bucher said via Twitter that the reported deal that would send Carlos Boozer to the Bulls, Kirk Hinrich to the Blazers and Tyrus Thomas to the Jazz is not going to happen.
@JonathanRozen Told this a.m. by a Bulls source that the Boozer deal wasn't happening. It's been discussed. A Por/Jazz/Det deal was, too.about 12 hours ago from web in reply to JonathanRozen
Kirk Hinrich has been trying so hard to get to Portland. He even told his friends during the draft that he would be traded to Portland. I believe he would be a great fit for them personnel wise and will give them a future point guard [not taking away from Steve Blake]. What I don't understand is why would the Bulls get Carlos Boozer? They are good in the front court but what they need is a shooting guard [unless John Salmos is playing that].
